Frequently asked questions

Can different signers use different signing levels in the same document?+

Yes. WQ3 lets you assign each signer one of three levels: electronic signature, remote signing or token signing. This helps accommodate each party’s requirements without splitting the agreement into separate documents.

Is eKYC an additional signing level?+

No. eKYC is an account-verification add-on that checks the account holder’s identity, not a fourth signing level. You can require an eKYC-verified account with any of the three signing levels when the transaction calls for proof of the signer’s identity.

What should I check before sending a document for signature?+

Review the document text, fields, signers and signing order before sending, because documents are locked once sent. Also choose the appropriate signing level for each party and decide whether to require eKYC account verification.

How can a recipient check a completed document’s authenticity without an account?+

Every contract signed with WQ3 has a public verification page accessible through the QR code on the final file and completion certificate. The file’s SHA-256 fingerprint is compared with the stored fingerprint to reveal changes, and the page shows signer names, signing levels and the timestamp of each step.

Does choosing a signing level alone guarantee a document’s legal validity?+

No. Egypt’s E-Signature Law No. 15 of 2004 gives electronic signatures and documents legal validity when its conditions are met, not simply because a particular signing level is selected. WQ3 supports those conditions through signer identity checks, individual signing links, tamper-evident final documents, an audit trail and a completion certificate.
