Frequently asked questions

Does my industry alone determine the right signing level?+

No; the choice depends on the document’s purpose, value and applicable requirements, not just the industry. WQ3 offers three levels: electronic signature, remote signing and token signing; electronic signatures suit everyday agreements, while remote or token signing suits formal, high-value contracts or digital-certificate requirements. You can also assign a different level to each signer within the same document.

How can we verify the identity of account holders participating in signing?+

You can require an eKYC-verified account when a transaction calls for proof of the signer’s identity. This account-verification add-on works with any of the three signing levels; it is not a separate signing level.

Does using WQ3 guarantee that all my industry’s legal requirements are met?+

Requirements should be assessed for each document type; alignment with a general law does not automatically satisfy every sector-specific rule. WQ3 is aligned with Egyptian E-Signature Law No. 15 of 2004 and its executive regulations, which recognize the legal validity of electronic signatures and documents when their conditions are met. Review the conditions applicable to your document before choosing a signing level.

What evidence is available when reviewing a completed transaction?+

Each completed document includes an audit trail and completion certificate showing actions, participants and timing to support internal review and record keeping. The document’s digital fingerprint helps reveal subsequent changes, allowing reviewers to check file integrity alongside the sequence of actions.

Can someone outside our organization verify a contract’s authenticity without an account?+

Yes; every contract signed with WQ3 has a public verification page accessible using its QR code and reference, without an account. The page supports checking the file’s digital fingerprint and viewing signer names, signature level and the timestamp of each step.
